ABOUT US

A Trusted Vintage Destination in Simcoe County

Since 1991, Cookstown Antique Market has greeted visitors with small-town warmth and an eye for quality. Set on a 4-acre property in a century-old barn, our family-operated business has grown into a destination for collectors, decorators, and day-trippers from Barrie, Innisfil, Vaughan, and beyond. With two storeys and 6,000 square feet of curated treasures, the market is a place where history lives and stories begin. We are proud to support the local community, raising more than $64,850 for Ontario charities, and to provide a welcoming space for anyone seeking meaningful gifts, sustainable décor, or a cheerful escape from city routines.

Our Story

Family Heritage and a Legacy of Community Care

Cookstown Antique Market began as a family dream in 1991, founded by the parents of current owner Bill Robinson. In 2017, Bill and Diana Robinson took the reins, continuing a tradition of hospitality and integrity that is now over three decades strong. The market is more than a business; it is a piece of Ontario’s living history, serving as a gathering place for neighbours, collectors, and generations of families. Our mission is rooted in four pillars: respect for every guest, honest representation of every item, commitment to heritage, and open communication. This foundation has allowed us to build trust with thousands of visitors and 35 independent dealers, each of whom brings their own eye for quality and passion for vintage finds. Every sale supports local causes, from Stevenson Memorial Hospital to Sick Kids Hospital, reinforcing the idea that when you shop here, you give back to the community.

Our Difference

A Curated Antique Experience with Integrity

What sets Cookstown Antique Market apart is our commitment to a relaxed, in-person shopping experience in a historic setting. Our 35 dealers offer a constantly changing selection, from Blue Mountain Pottery and Sherman jewellery to Hoselton sculptures, stoneware, and vintage typewriters. Each booth is thoughtfully arranged, allowing visitors to enjoy a true 'treasure hunt' without pressure or pretension. We never buy inventory directly, instead connecting local sellers with trusted dealers in our network. Our clean, comfortable washrooms, ample parking, and the option to host micro-events in the Glass Manor venue make us a top choice for day trips, group outings, and special occasions. The market’s reputation for authenticity and stewardship is reflected in our five-star reviews and loyal customer base across Simcoe County, Barrie, Innisfil, Newmarket, and beyond.
